The basics of roulette
Posted By Diego | Bridge News | December 7, 2011, 08:29 AM |
Roulette is one of the most popular games played in the world of casino. Even though the roulette table layout appears a bit complicated especially for the first timers, it is in fact very easy to play roulette. The only thing a person needs to do is understand the basics of the game.
A typical roulette layout is the one, which is found mostly in all the American casinos. The roulette wheel is divided into 38 slots. The ball lands on these slots that are numbered, from 1-36 and 0 and 00 in a typical roulette.
A person needs to bet only on a single number known as straight up or on a combination of numbers or odd or even or the red or black. All the players on a roulette table are provided with different color chips as it makes it easy to differentiate the numbers of the layout on which the people have placed their bets. It totally depends on a particular person to place a bet of his or her choice and value. The value is mostly around $5-to $100 regular casino chips. The game begins when the dealer spins the wheel and the ball eventually falls on a slot. A player is declared winner when the ball lands on the number slot on which he had placed his bet.
